It’s officially American Craft Beer Week – a week for craft beer lovers to honor craft beer lovers and their passion and creativity in making the best beers in the world. As a local, independent, family owned distributor, we acknowledge and salute the entrepreneurial spirit of the many brewers we are lucky to partner with. We truly believe we offer our customers the best brews in the world! This week we are calling out some of our brewer partners who are hitting milestones of excellence and achievement this American Craft Beer Week!
Texas’ oldest craft brewery will turn 25 years old this June! For Saint Arnold brewers, they are pursuing a passion, not just working a job. This comes through in the beers they brew: “Our beers have a soul.” Named after the legendary Saint Arnold, the guy, the brewery produces high quality year-round, seasonal, and single batch brews that can be purchased in Texas and Louisiana.
Galvestonians who were born on the island are affectionately referred to as “B.O.I.s.” Lucky for these local islanders, there is now beer that has been brewed on the island and can claim B.O.I status. Galveston Island Brewing, who will celebrate their 5-year anniversary this month, is known for brewing beers that will transport you to island time. We cherish the opportunity to get their brews in the hands of beer drinkers along the Texas Gulf Coast. Ever wonder how your favorite Tiki Wheat gets from the brewery to your hand? Now you can see for yourself as the brew goes from “seed to sip.” Watch here.
Here’s to 30 years of inspired brewing! Bell’s Brewery is known for producing award winning brews and a lifetime of quality products. Oberon is officially here for the summer and their signature 5L mini kegs are coming soon! Get ready to celebrate the Hazy Days of Summer all season long.
Sierra Nevada Brewing Company
This brewery and their beer sparked a craft beer revolution. The Sierra Nevada Pale Ale began as a home brewer’s dream, grew into an icon, and inspired countless brewers to follow a passion of their own. Its unique piney and grapefruit aromas from the use of whole-cone American hops have fascinated beer drinkers for decades and made this beer a classic, yet it remains new, complex and surprising to thousands of beer drinkers every day. It is—as it always has been—all natural, bottle conditioned and refreshingly bold. Pale Yeah!
Did you know Southern Star Brewing Company was the first craft beer brewery to start canning in the state of Texas? We’re thankful others followed their lead. Celebrating their 11th anniversary this year, they are kicking it up a notch. You know and love their signature Blonde Bombshell. Well get ready for Strawberry Blonde coming soon!
8th Wonder Brewery
8th Wonder Brewing has given us 6 gr8 years of celebr8ting beer (see what we did there?)! Open 8 days a week, there’s never a time to not drink 8th Wonder. Houstonians are partial to their Dome Faux’m that is perfect for every inning.
