This classic summer beer has a spicy hop character while giving off mild fruity aromas. With this taste profile, one may assume it’s made with spices and fruit. Think again! This classic American wheat ale contains only 4 main ingredients: water, malt, hops, and yeast!
The 5L mini keg has become a collector’s item with the brewery designing a new mini keg every year. The 2109 mini keg features a bright colors reminiscent of a sunset. Collectors often re-purpose their empty kegs by using them as planters, decoration, or even utilizing them for home brewing.

Just like there are many ways to use an empty Oberon mini keg, cooking with Oberon gives us so many ways to soak up summer! With one mini keg, you can enjoy all of these bites while sipping on the brew that shines the light of summer.
Prep Time: 2 Minutes
Cook Time: 15 Minutes
- 1 dozen brats
- Oberon to cover
- 1 large sweet onion
- 2 ounces (1/2 stick) butter
- Serving suggestions: baked brat buns, sauerkraut, onions, green peppers, ketchup/mustard
Step 1: Place brats in a Dutch oven with onions and butter. Cover the brats with beer.
Step 2: Bring to a boil. Reduce to simmer until brats are cooked.
Step 3: Remove brats and set aside beer mixture.
Step 4: Grill brats until golden brown and return to beer mixture until ready to serve.
- 8 chicken breasts, cooked and diced
- 1 small red onion, diced
- 1 stick of celery
- 1 cup of roughly chopped cashews
- Juice and zest from 1 orange
- 1 Tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
- Splash of Oberon
- ½ tsp curry powder
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- 1 ¼ cup mayonnaise
Step 1: In a large bowl, combine chicken, onion, celery, and cashews.
Step 2: In a separate bowl, combine remaining ingredients to form dressing.
Step 3: Evenly dress the chicken and vegetables with dressing. Season with salt and pepper as needed.
Step 4: Enjoy on a bed of greens or on your favorite bread with a glass of Oberon!
- 25% Sparkling White Wine
- 15% Orange Juice (freshly squeezed for best results)
- 60% Oberon
